Twice a year, the sun aligns perfectly along the Manhattan city grid, lighting up the streets with an amazing shade of light as it sets. This was my first attempt to catch the phenomenon but unfortunately the cloud cover was too thick to produce a visible sunset. Nonetheless, it was fun to gather with the crowds of photographers, tourists and locals alike, attempting to catch a shot of Manhattanhenge. I even received a small mention on Global Post. According to the Hayden Planetarium, the next one is expected to occur on July 12th.
